Calluses, kickball, a cute calf and cousins.

We had a lovely weekend.  It was a bit windy today (to remind us that it really is spring).  Friday evening Mike went up to the ballpark to help get it ready for the upcoming baseball season.  The kids and I went across the street to the school park, and Dane was so happy to show me how he has mastered the rings/monkeybars.  He went across them time after time until his hands hurt too much!
I love his expressions as he concentrates!

We played kickball with some of the neighboring kids on the tennis court.  It works perfectly because the ball stays on the field!

Yesterday, a friend brought over a 2-month Holstein steer calf that now belongs to us!  His name is Harry, and he is absolutely a doll.  He follows us around like a dog, and loves any attention we give him.  The sweetest thing is how he clumsily runs after us if we run in his pasture.

The marking on his forehead looks a bit like a heart.  And I love his beautiful long lashes.

We spent the windy afternoon playing outside with cousin Morgan.

A pesky pocket gopher.

Cute baby Milo is so strong!

Little Olive loves cats.  (And I love her beautiful curls!)

I love your little calf, he looks just like another Teddy. Your farm is really growing. Congratulations on all your hard work. Think of you all often.
