It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Here are quite a few pictures taken since Thanksgiving.  They include the kiddos, the animals, the farm, and lots of Christmas goodies!  We are having a nice quiet Christmas at home with some of Mike's family, since it is my holiday on call.  Next week we head west for some skiing and to catch up with old friends.

Loving on Harry!

Our first snow was sticky enough for a snowman.  We have gotten more snow since then, but it's too cold for making snowmen!

"Oh, the weather outside is frightful..."

Last weekend, we had all of Mike's immediate family here.  The cousins all had a blast "kneeboarding" behind the snowmobile.

Wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas filled with love and family.

Thankful

We had a very wonderful Thanksgiving with our precious families.  We spent most of our time at the Smith Farm near Welch, MN.  Thanksgiving morning was beautiful, and we enjoyed time outside, including a 5k Turkey Trot for Melodee, Mike, and myself.  It cooled off continually during the day, and by evening the ground was white!
Here is to having a spirit of Thanksgiving each and every day!

Fun with cousins!
Zach thought it was warm enough to scoot around with bare feet!

The boys and sweet Cashmere.
Ellie and Nora had a little picnic outdoors with Rory the Dwarf Nigerian goat!

Blue eyes!

Beautiful Olive.

Friday afternoon and evening, we also spent time with all of my immediate family plus my grandparents, my aunt and uncle, and 3 of my cousins and their families.  We are so fortunate to be able to spend so much time with our loved ones!
My grandparents and their 4 great grandchildren.
My shaggy-haired boy on the way home today.  How grown up does he look?

November

As Thanksgiving approaches, we are thankful for beautiful weather, a lovely farm, our fine furry friends, and growing kiddos. I especially am glad that "Movember" is nearly over!
