Summer, won't you please come and stay for a while?

Last week, the kids created their own water park in our yard. They both started out fully clothed and then stripped down as their clothes got wet. This resulted in a midday bath and load of laundry! |
Our Memorial Day weekend weather was nicer than predicted, thank goodness. My parents came for the weekend, and we enjoyed our time together. On Saturday, Dane went to a friend's birthday party, and the rest of us, along with Mike's parents, loaded up our bikes and headed for Runestone Park.

Grandpa, Mike, Grandma and Grampy heading our way on their bikes. |

My dad still loves to swing! |

Three generations of Andersons on the swings- Paul, Mike and Nora. |

This didn't last long! A couple of times around, and Grandpa and Grandma had to get off! |

Mike got our boat out to ready it for boating season, and he found these baby robins up in our wakeboard tower. Sadly, they didn't survive our attempted transfer. |
Of course, I have a few kitten pictures as well!
The kittens are much more mobile, finally. I caught this cute video of little Sammy running after Dane in the yard.

Thanks for sharing. I love seeing the pictures of your cute family.
Poor baby birds! Mama birds do find the strangest places to nest!
The kittens are sooo cute! I'm working on Damion in hopes of another kitty. ;P We need a kitten that grows up with the girls so it will hopefully be jaded to all the "loving" it receives! Our big cat grew up with older children who were a little rough with him. He's calmed down some, but still the claws come out when he's getting perturbed.
Great pics!
