Saturday

Renee hosted a beautiful "meet and greet" for Nora on Saturday. She said she was keeping things simple- I can only imagine how beautiful things would be if she was going extravagant!

I didn't get many pictures of the party itself. Afterwards, Renee cut up her pretty daisies and staged a little photo shoot while Nora snoozed. Here are just a couple of snaps from the memory card I almost filled!

Grampy's here!

Grampy flew in Friday evening, so we all went to meet him at the airport.

Dane and Grampy have been nearly inseparable since...
...but he has allowed Grampy to hold Nora for a few minutes from time to time!

Grampy brought Dane a John Deere truck with a little 4-wheeler that fits in its bed.

There have been a few long walks in the desert heat to the park. Along the way, Dane had to stop and watch this construction equipment work. This is better than a circus to him!

Thank goodness for a spray park to cool off in!

We filled up Dane's pool this afternoon to let the water warm up while Dane napped. However, he couldn't wait and jumped into the frigid water clothes and all! He must have gotten a bit cold, because he insisted on putting on a pair of warm winter pj's before he took his nap!

I finally got a chance to look through the numerous pictures taken by Benny, Sarah and Mom last week. Although we've posted quite a few pictures from our first moments with Nora, here are a few more that I felt just really needed to be shared.
