I found your blog from another one when I just happened to be cruising around here on the 'net. I saw Benjamin Stockwell (your brother) and was quite surprised since my mother is a Stockwell. I wonder if we are related. A lot of our relatives are from Minnesota and Wisconsin. So I come from the Stockwell/Dissmore stock. My grandmother is Clara Stockwell and my grandfather was Vernon Stockwell. My mother is Barbara Stockwell and she has 3 siblings, one of which is Doug Stockwell whose son is Craig Stockwell. My Great-Great Grandpa was Benjamin Dissmore and three of his children married three of the Stockwell clan. We are in Washington State. I was just curious-please feel free to visit our blog and post a message if you are curious too.
We are indeed related! I will defer to my parent for full details on exactly how! I can say that my grandpa (Dad's dad) is Wilbur (or Bill) Stockwell, and I believe he was a grandson to Benjamin Dissmore. Thanks for commenting- what a small world! Love your blond boys! Hi Amanda, In response to your comment about Jaspar, I know that Ben has played in the variety show that Jaspar hosts at the Acadia cafe before. I think that they have played together some. Congrats to Benny and Jaspar! (She just came out with her 3rd CD)
