This and that

We don't have any exciting news, just a few recent photos from our lives. I'll apologize now for the photo quality. It seems that Mike and I have gotten lazy and only snap photos here and there with our phones! I'll have to get the actual camera out one of these days. We have had some warmer days which make us anxious for spring to arrive. Grandpa and Grandma's new house is coming right along. They anticipate they will be moving in about a month. That means lots of work ahead, but it's very exciting for all of us! Nora is becoming a little farm girl and loves sitting in Grandpa's tractor.
She found an inflatable tube out in a storage shed the other day and insisted on playing with it.
On days that we can't make it to the local ski hill, Daddy often takes Dane out on his skis in the yard searching for adventure. He has discovered that this shovel makes for a good ski lift.
Our sweet little sled cat apparently was not given nine lives and is no longer with us. We all miss him so much, especially the kiddos. He was never far away when we were outside (if you look closely, he's riding on Mike's shoulder in the photo above). We will miss you little guy!
On Valentine's Day weekend, Mike took me out for a night at Arrowwood, a local resort. The next morning we enjoyed a beautiful frosty walk after room service breakfast. Did I mention I love my hubby?

The kiddos spent the night with all four grandparents who brought them to enjoy Arrowwood's indoor water park with us the next day.
I think her little bib pretty much sums it up!
Last weekend we went to visit Hugh, Melodee, Zachary and Ellie. Melodee's birthday was Monday, so we celebrated early. Her sweet neighbor made this cake. What a beautiful surprise on the inside!
Hugh took Melodee to a hotel one night, so we were parents of 4 for a night! The kids were all super, but I think we're content with two! Nora reading with Daddy.
Recent pictures of the house.

Dane loves sledding out in our meadow.
