Keeping warm!

The novelty of winter still has not worn off completely for us! The other day, I walked over to the baby-sitter's house to pick up the kids in the sled. It's about a mile from our house, so it makes for a nice walk. If you crop out the trees, you can imagine we're on an Antarctic expedition!

Last Saturday, we went over to the Runestone Park and took a big hike. We also did some sledding down a big hill which is always a good workout!!
We spend lots of time outside when Mommy has days off. Nora likes to meander around while Dane and I make tunnels and caves in our big snow drifts.
The pink dot in the distance is Nora trekking through the snow.
Sparkly snow in the yard.

Nora and Momma.

Nora and Dane in the cave together. It's actually big enough that I can fit in there with both of them, but I couldn't manage a picture of it!

Some evenings, we head over to Grandpa and Grandma's new house under construction and make use of the large rec room in the basement. It's already perfect for the kids to play in!!

Daddy brought home these cute Home Depot aprons for the kids today.

(We don't actually let the kids play with the hammers, in case you're wondering!)
