Family and summer fun!

In mid-June, we spent nearly a week on and off with the Smith family. The kiddos all had a blast on the farm at at area lakes.

Flying kites in the pasture.

Learning to skip rocks.

It finally feels like summer.

Out on a carp hunt.

Just playing in the creek.

On a wagon ride.

Playing restaurant in the "Grandma House" with Charlie.

Baby Adeline (a yak) also came to visit since she still needed to be bottle-fed three times a day.

All the dogs (ours plus Mark's) had to check her out!

We celebrated Grandpa Paul's birthday together with a chuckwagon ride and dinner at Andes.

My parents also joined us for the evening.  Before the chuckwagon ride, we toured a local museum with many vintage cars and found a twin to the car they drove when they were dating and first married 35 years ago!
