Celebrating 5!

Nora had been asking for a birthday at Grampy and Grammy's lake home for many months.  Grampy and Grammy were fabulous hosts, and we had a beautiful day!

Family and summer fun!

In mid-June, we spent nearly a week on and off with the Smith family. The kiddos all had a blast on the farm at at area lakes.

It finally feels like summer.

Baby Adeline (a yak) also came to visit since she still needed to be bottle-fed three times a day.

We celebrated Grandpa Paul's birthday together with a chuckwagon ride and dinner at Andes.

My parents also joined us for the evening.  Before the chuckwagon ride, we toured a local museum with many vintage cars and found a twin to the car they drove when they were dating and first married 35 years ago!

Celebrating 15!

June 6th marked 15 years of wedded bliss!

Dane gave us this card on the eve of our anniversary.  So precious!

We went out to dinner at Peter's Sunset Resort in Glenwood in the 1961 Mercury Monterey the drove us between our wedding and reception 15 years ago.  The kids cruised with us over to Grandpa and Grandma's first.

After a drive along the lake, we ended up at the Starbuck Dairy Queen for dessert.  Our generator hadn't kept up with the headlights, so the local police had to come give us a jumpstart, but we made it home safely!

Here's to many more memorable years ahead!
