The past two weeks since Nora's birthday have been a frenzy of summer activity, soaking up every precious moment. Nora went with cousin Ellie to stay for 3 days while cousin Zach stayed with us. The boys were inseparable despite their 5-year age difference.

Grampy and Grammy came to spend a week at their lake home, and the kiddos spent most of the week there with them. We spent some fun evenings there with them after work as well. Fun times included bike rides, boating, lounging on tubes, watching all the fish along the docks, an evening bonfire, listening to the loons, and beautiful sunsets.

| We walked down to the mailbox one evening, and both Dane and Nora received a Highlights magazine in the mail that day. I loved watching them walk back up the driveway, each busy studying their new magazines. |

This evening we head west for nearly a week to eventually meet up with the Shepherd family for a few days! We can't wait!
