6 months old!

Time sure flies when you're having fun! I apologize for the unorganized post- here are a bunch of recent pictures of Dane without much commentary. His second tooth popped through this weekend as evidenced by all the drool on his clothes a few photos down!

I think he was watching one of the cats here. His expression makes me laugh!

Dane was very interested in Carter and kept trying to hold his hand while we took pictures.

Our growing boy!

We were planning on camping out by Lake Mead this weekend, but the wind really kicked up in the last few days which would make both camping and boating miserable! We'll enjoy a relaxing weekend around home instead. Here are some recent pictures of Dane, who continues to grow by the minute!

Dane's first tooth popped through on Thursday evening. So far Dane has been pretty mellow with this whole teething process. Here are some pictures of him snoozing this past weekend.

Labor Day weekend

Dane wasn't real sure what to think about the goop Mom tried to shovel in his mouth! Overall, he did pretty well, and we kept most of the mess contained to the bib and his face!!

As a side note, Mike got a little surprise when he went to pick Dane up shortly after these pictures were taken. Dane had been holding things in for a couple of days, but everything got shaken loose in the Jumperoo! The results were so substantial that we just hosed Dane down in the yard before taking him inside to be changed!

5 months old!

It's so hard to believe that Dane will be five months old tomorrow! He just gets more fun every day! Below are some pictures of our rough life- our neighbors have been vacationing in Hawaii (poor them), so we have been watching their beautiful, newly finished pool (poor us)!

Dane tried out his high chair for the first time the other evening. No food yet, just teething rings! He seems to like sitting up at our level!

Carter William Shepherd was born today to proud parents Jeff and Renee. Here are some pictures of Dane getting acquainted with his new little buddy. (Actually, at 8 lbs. 13 oz., he's not really so little!!)

We were only at the hospital for 30 minutes, but Dane goes through clothes quite frequently these days. He's getting known among our friends for his not-so-quiet accidents. Thus, the two different outfits in pictures taken only minutes apart!!
