My big cousins Zachary and Ellie flew in Wednesday from Omaha with my Auntie Melodee and Uncle Hugh. We really get along well, and they're teaching me all about being a happy, busy kid!

Hospital pictures

Dane had his first appointment yesterday with his pediatrician. She feels that Dane is doing very well! He was back up to 7 lb. 9 0z. yesterday, and I'm sure that will continue to increase if his appetite is any indicator!

WELCOME DANE MIKKEL ANDERSON!!
Hi Everyone!
Dane Mikkel Anderson is here!! He was born on March 25th at 5:40 p.m. He is 7 lb. 11 oz. & he is 20 inches long. He is soooo cute & cuddly! I think this "parent thing" is going to be incredible!! I can't wait to take him to the baseball park, zoo, and the gym!! :) Maybe a little early for all of that, but still, this kid is awesome! Mommy is doing great as well! She is such a great mommy, and she couldn't be prouder of her beautiful bouncing baby boy!! (Dad is pretty proud, too!) :)

Still waiting...
Another view of the nursery after a few more finishing touches. Thanks to my dad and mom for the beautiful glider rocker! I think my nesting instincts really kicked in this weekend, as I found myself cleaning the whole house and rearranging the nursery again and again. Poor Mike got roped into fun tasks like wiping down every ceiling fan in our house (there are 6) and other things unsafe for a largely pregnant woman who wants everything done!
The poor guy finally gets a break from all his work, and Lizzi joins him!

GeezerJock Anyone?!
I received a great gift in the mail the other day! GEEZERJOCK magazine! I think someone is trying to tell me something!
Basically, the magazine features old guys who still run, play football, baseball, bowling, curling, drink coffee, Metamucil, use walkers, have tri-focals & use a commode! I guess it really DEPENDS if one wants to read on about the Croquet Masters!!

36 weeks

36 days and counting... but who's counting?!!
Here's the most recent picture of our beautiful little baby! We just love those cute little pouty lips!! It's getting harder and harder to get clear pictures as Baby's quarters are a little more crowded. D-day is approaching in 36 days... although I should probably add at least a week to that estimate based on family history! No signs yet that Baby will make an appearance very soon, though it would be fairly healthy at this point with a calculated weight of over 5 pounds.Monday, January 30, 2006
